- Stone Studio introduces a new line: "Lava Glass". This unique material is made from a naturally occuring volcanic glass called Obsidian. Obsidian is considered a semiprecious stone and is often used as a gemstone due to its reflective characteristics. Lava Glass carries both glass and natural stone properties.March 2008

- Las Vegas is hosting the 2008 Surfaces Show, gathering more than 40,000 retailers, architects, designers, builders, installers and distributors from around the world for the products, answers, strategies, trends and opportunities to succeed. Surfaces will take place January 30 - February 1, 2008 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center, bringing the entire world of floor covering together for three days.December 2007

-Stone Studio is proud to support an Innovative Competition at ASID Saddleback College Student Chapter. The student chapter members at Saddleback College presented an exciting and challenging event – TABLETOP DESIGN COMPETITION. Thinking of Halloween, Autumn, and Thanksgiving brought students their own interpretation of “Harvest”. Being creative, original and unique combined with a team effort were the main criteria for the judges to carefully select the winner.October 2007

This award is given annually to community leaders who have made a significant commitment to those in need.
